Patent application has low granted rate and can be obviously rejected by Patent Office during examination which resulting in unnecessary patent spending; or the content in technical discloser is not enough, patent application text’s quality is not high; or, clients apply for a large number of patents while failing in forming a valid patent portfolio or high-value patent portfolio, having high difficulty in patent practice.

Working procedure

  To formulate patent proposal search and analysis standard based on the overall requirements of client’s patent quality management;

  To assist technical personnel in patent point mining and improvement of technical scheme based on content analysis of patent proposal;

  To focus on the invention point(s) of the patent proposal, refer to client’s patent proposal search analysis standard, draw up a suitable search strategy, and conduct innovation search of invention point(s) in the main domestic and foreign patent databases (including Chinese, American, European, etc.) and the corresponding standardization organizations’ standard document libraries, major scientific and technical periodicals libraries in China, and public Internet search tools, etc.

  To prepare written analysis report for each patent proposal according to search results. A written analysis report should at least include understanding of technical scheme, determination of patent protection point(s), preliminary judgment of novelty and creativity, prospect of patent licensing, patent application claim structure, and requirements on patent agents to write the application documents, etc.
